Virginia Williams, age 86, passed away Wednesday in Rose Lane Health Center. Born in Canton in 1923 to the late Joseph and Mary (Blasenhauer) Zimmerman. Virginia loved music, walking, crossword puzzles and dining out. She was always there for you in the time of need. She will be missed, leaving behind wonderful memories. In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband; Brooke, sister; Gladys Woodside, brother; Joseph (Bud) Zimmerman and nephew; Erich Zimmerman. Survivors include nieces; Judy Logan, Christina (Jack) Kerchner, Nancy Zimmerman, Donna Neander, Loretta Coull, Shirley (Gordon) Oglesby and Jimmy (Sylvia) Woodside, many great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Monday 2:00 PM in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St. W. with her great nephew, Rev. Michael Namy officiating. Friends may call from 1:15 to 2:00 PM. Interment in West Lawn Cemetery.
