Virginia Lee Varner, age 68 of Hartville, passed away Thursday afternoon in her home with her family by her side. She was born March 24, 1949 in Canton to Carl and Dorothy (Potts) Stimmel. Ginny was a 1967 graduate of Lake High School and worked at Teledyne Monarch for 15 years, retiring to spend time with her family, volunteering at the schools and attending all the sporting events. Her passion was being with family.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David Varner; daughters, Heidi (Dan) Dillon of Hartville, Jenna (Matt) Hammerton of Santan Valley, Arizona; son, Jason (Sherry) Varner of Hartville; brother, Brian (Barbara) Stimmel of Medina; grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Justice, Kyler, Nathan, Alaina, Avery, Aiden, Chase. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Stephanie in 1971 and a sister Karen Stimmel.

Calling hours are Sunday 3-6:00 p.m. at Evermore Community Church. Private burial will be in Mt. Peace Cemetery. A memorial service will be Monday 11:00 a.m. in Evermore Community Church with Pastors, Ross Miller and Butch Nisley officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Evermore Community church.
