Virginia Kahn, age 95, formerly of Canton passed away Monday evening January 3, 2011 in Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center in Louisville. She was born on April 18, 1915 in Canton to the late Joseph and Yetta (Lapedus) Cooper. Virginia is a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry on December 29, 1991; two sisters Sara Fish and Daisy Fogel; and two brothers David Cooper and Morris Cooper. Virginia is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Reva and Harvey Karp of Croton on Hudson, NY; son and daughter-in-law Edward and Linda Kahn of Anglewood, FL; brother and sister-in-law Hymie and Esther Cooper of Canton; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home, Canton with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Interment will follow in Canton Hebrew Cemetery.
