Virginia M. Hill, age 86, of Canton passed away Feb. 24, 2012. A lifelong resident of Canton, she was born on May 10, 1925. She was a 1943 graduate of Lincoln High School and worked as a secretary with the Canton City Schools for 30 years before retiring. She was preceded in death by father and stepmother; Leo and Anna Skotnicky, birth mother Fern Copeland Skotnicky and her husband of 54 years, William F. Hill who died in 1997. She is survived by daughters JoAnne Caruso and Kathy Gill, son William Hill, grandchildren Andrea Gibson, Natalie Hetrick and Spencer Hill and great granddaughter Mallory Hetrick. Funeral service and interment in North Lawn Cemetery will be private for the family.
