Virginia May Fox, age 87, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 29, 2016. She was born on October 24, 1928 in Greentown, Ohio to the late Clark and Florence (Eldridge) Lower. She was a 1946 graduate of Hartville High School and married Joseph William Fox on November 3, 1946. Virginia with her husband, Joe, had a family business in the square of Hartville, Fox Foods. Among many things to mention, her daughters and family especially have appreciated her hand written cookbooks with favorite cookie recipes.

She had been a 75 year member of Werner United Methodist Church and enjoyed greeting everyone on Sunday mornings.

Survived by her husband of 69 years, Joe; daughters and sons-in-law Linda and David Cochran, Bonnie and Karl Kiener, Shirley and Tom Nehlen; grandchildren Jennifer Arndt, Megan (Fred) Saylor, Matthew (Katie) Cochran; great-grandchildren Barbara, Alexandrea and Gabriella Arndt and baby Saylor on the way; and brother Dale (Darlene) Lower.

Calling hours are Thursday 4-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Friday 11:00 AM at Werner United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Lawrence officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church or Alzheimer's Association.
