Vincent B. "Jim" Marotta, age 89, of Uniontown, passed away Thursday October 30, 2008 with his family by his side at Altercare of Hartville. Born in Italy on October 24, 1919 to Antonio and Sabina (Marotto) Marotta, he resided in Cleveland moving to Akron in 1966. He retired from St. Vincent - St. Mary High School and later retired from the City of Fairlawn. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Helen; children Robert (Jenny) Marotta of Surprise, AZ, Vincetta (David) Croft of Uniontown, James Marotta of Yorba Linda, CA, Mark (Mary) Marotta of Akron; sister Gloria Fasola; grandchildren David (Amanda) Croft and Christopher Croft; great-granddaughter Annabella Croft. Preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters. Calling hours are Monday 4-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 11 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr.
