Victor DioGuardi, age 89, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday night June 21, 2011 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Canton on May 19, 1922 to the late Biagio and Angelina DioGuardi. Victor graduated from McKinley High School and was a WW II Air Force Veteran. He retired from car sales at Kempthorn Motors. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and golfing. His family started and operated DioGuardi's Italian Market for many years He is survived by his wife Iona M. (Perkins) DioGuardi; granddaughters Colleen and Todd Barnes of Marlboro and Christine and Parnell Pollard of Columbus; great-grandchildren Shawn and Dr. Colleen Morris, Dustin and Stephanie Morris, Andy and Sam Pollard; great-great- grandchildren Callie Morris and Rylee Marin; sisters Dorothy and Florence DioGuardi both of Canton; son-in-law Dan Wolfe of Galion; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by daughter Audrey Wolfe; sister Virginia Lanzi; and brothers Tony and Mike DioGuardi. Funeral services are Friday 1 PM at Arnold Funeral Home with Father Thomas Bishop of St. Anthony's Parish officiating. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Burial Park.
