Vicki Lynn Shinoda of Malvern, PA has found peace after a rapid journey with ALS. She died on August 27, 2023 at age 70. Vicki was born on August 15, 1953 in Canton, Ohio to Marie and Ervin Wilkof.

Vicki was articulate, curious, independent and vivacious. From head majorette at McKinley High School to competitive ballroom dancer at Arthur Murray dance studio after retirement, Vicki enjoyed the spotlight. She was a life long learner, having earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as two master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Widener University. For the majority of Vicki's career, she was a therapist—but she leaves the world as a teacher.

In Vicki's last few months, she found fulfillment through generosity. She made impactful donations to Penn Neurology, the Chester County SPCA, and the ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and loyal animal companions. She is survived by her children Patrick (Lee) Shinoda and Kathryn (Christy) Shinoda, sister Jo Anne Ensley, brother Ronald (Ruthanne) Wilkof and six beloved grandchildren.
