Veronica Louise Williams, age 62, formerly of Canton, more recently of Cincinnati passed away Thursday afternoon after a brief illness. Veronica was born in Gary, Indiana to Louis and Veronica (Tansek) Malinowski. She was retired from the telecommunication industry after serving 33 years. Veronica enjoyed traveling abroad, cooking, and spending time with her family. She always put the welfare of others before her own, even through her final moments. Veronica's loving smile and warm personality will be missed by all of those whom came in contact with her. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis. Veronica is survived by her husband, Gerald Williams. Mother, Veronica Malinowski of Canton, sons; Erik of Cincinnati and Marc Williams of Cary, North Carolina. Grandsons; Tristan and Travis Williams. Sisters; Donna Whitaker, Nancy Ferrell and Patricia Hammar also survive. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Frank Carfagna as Celebrant. The procession will form at the Church.
