Vernon E. Monroe, age 65, of Canton, passed away December 25, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1955 to James and Janette (Epling) Monroe and attended Marlington High School. Vernon spent his career as a carpenter. He enjoyed working with his hands, being outdoors, and nature.

He is preceded in death by his siblings Hershell, Holly (Wilbur), Jean (Eloise), Doris, and Gary. He is survived by his children James, Michael, Samantha, and Noah; 8 Grandchildren; siblings Everett, James (Stan), and George (Ray).

Private family visitation will take place to honor Vernon and pay respects.
