Verda Schwitzgable Winslow, age 87, of Canton, formerly of North Canton died Sunday morning in Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton to the late August & Edna (Rosenbluh) Schwitzgable, she was a life resident. A graduate of Lehman High School and Heidelberg College, Verda was a retired educator having taught in Canton and the surrounding area, she also was a real estate agent. She was a member of Zion United church of Christ of North Canton. Survivors include her husband of 65 years William, daughter, Paula Weston, sons; Bruce, Brian (Judi), Brady & Brent (Brenda) Winslow, nine grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, siblings; Janet, Dick, Jim, Tom Schwitzable & Doris Kakos also survive. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Zion United Church of Christ of North Canton. A private interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call on Wednesday 6-8 p.m. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ 415 S.
