IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Valorie Gay
Ramsburg
September 10, 1943 – March 28, 2012
Valerie Gay Ramsburg, age 68, of Hartville, peacefully passed away March 28, 2012 at the side of her loving husband and unwavering caregiver, Lou Ramsburg. Valerie sustained a love of life despite unrelenting pain from rheumatoid arthritis and later, cancer. Her smile and fortitude never faltered. Valerie saw beauty in everything life had to offer. Valerie was born September 10, 1943 to Don and Jean (North) Begert. Valerie loved her life growing up in North Canton. Val's talent and brilliance glittered every time she walked on the field as a majorette at North Canton Hoover High School. She remained friends with so many from her early years. A loving mother, Valerie raised three handsome, wonderful boys of whom she was so proud. Val's house was the gathering spot for friends and fun during those precious years. Valerie enjoyed working as an elementary school aid, then worked in banking and flourished in the insurance business providing exceptional customer service. For many successful years, she worked alongside the love of her life, husband Lou Ramsburg, at Ramsburg Insurance and Financial Services. Valerie loved spending time with her children, step children and grandchildren. Welcoming everyone to her home for delicious food, interesting conversation and lively games of euchre was something she loved very much. Everyone always knew they were welcome on Sundays to rally around the Browns and have fun cheering them on. Valerie is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Louis Ramsburg; loving sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Debbie Draper of North Canton, Tim Draper of Hartville, and Randy and Hoornaz Draper of Greenville, North Carolina. She leaves behind as well step children who will miss her dearly, Christian and Lynn Ramsburg of Hartville, Marty Ramsburg and Frank Larkin of Brattleboro, Vermont, and Tim and Elizabeth Ramsburg of Uniontown. Seven beautiful grandchildren filled Val's life with love and laughter. Valerie has a twin brother, Mike Begert, of Palmetto, Florida. She was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Begert. Calling hours will be Saturday 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Engle officiating.
