Valerie Jean Ewing, age 51 of Baltic, Ohio, formerly of North Canton, OH passed away on December 31, 2009. She was born on December 16, 1958 in Canton, Ohio to the late Richard Kamp Ewing and Gloria Boyd Ewing of North Canton who survives her. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1977 and graduated from Michigan State University in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Florence Ewing and maternal grandparents, Dorothy Deuble and Stanley (Sally) Boyd, her aunt Twila and uncle Peter Boyd and her aunt Delores Darr Ewing. Besides her mother, she is survived by a brother, Bradford Ewing of Staten Island, NY; a sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Chris Christopher of Troy, MI; a nephew, Adam Christopher of Columbus, OH; uncle Stan and aunt Grace Ewing of Canton; and numerous cousins. Cremation has already taken place and a memorial service will take place at Church of the Savior United Methodist Church, 120 Cleveland Avenue SW Canton, OH 44702 on Saturday January 16, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev.
