Twila E. Pritts, age 95, of Canton died Saturday afternoon in St. Luke Lutheran Community after a brief illness. Born in Pleasant City, OH to the late Albert & Dulcie (Garber) Watkins she has resided here most of her life. Twila was a 1932 graduate of McKinley High School and received her teaching degree from Kent State University. A retired school teacher, Twila taught in the Canton City School System and retired from Plain Local Schools, she was also a Jennings Scholar. She was a devoted and long time member of Simpson United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents and an infant brother she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years Earl M. Pritts in 2005. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Rebecca and Duane Crawford. Two grandchildren Jason (Heather) and Jennifer Crawford all of Canton. Great granddaughter Kaleigh Crawford. Sister: Norma Wilkin of Westerville, OH. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of St. Luke's for their considerate, loving care and concern for Twila while she was there. Funeral service will be Friday 11:00 A.M. in Simpson United Methodist Church with Rev. Cynthia Theobold and Rev. Raymond Tucker officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
