Tony S. Gregory

Oct 11, 1972 — Jul 10, 2026

Tony S. Gregory, 53, of Palm Bay, Florida, formerly of Canton, Ohio, passed away on July 10, 2026.

Born in Canton to the late Stanley and Kay (Hall) Gregory, Tony graduated from McKinley High School before earning his degree from Bowling Green State University. He worked a variety of jobs in Canton before following a new path into real estate about three years ago, where he helped others find homes in Florida.

Tony had a personality that was impossible to ignore. He never met a stranger, could strike up a conversation with anyone, and had a way of making every gathering a little more fun. Whether he was making people laugh, telling stories, or simply enjoying the company around him, he truly was the life of the party.

He loved spending time on the golf course and watching the Steelers play, but after moving to Florida, much of his time was spent with his youngest daughter at playgrounds, parks, and other outdoor spots, doing all the things she loved. He enjoyed them too, but even more, he loved watching her be adventurous and brave, always learning, exploring, and discovering the world around her. They also loved watching wildlife, feeding squirrels and turtles, and stopping to watch and catch bugs in their natural habitat. At home, he always tried to keep a few plants growing, hoping to develop a green thumb.

Above all, Tony loved being a dad. He was incredibly proud of his daughters and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. His laughter, adventurous spirit, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Kay (Hall) Gregory; his brother, Trenton Hall; his sister, Robin Miller; the mother of his daughter Hannah, Stephanie Ready; and countless others who left this world far too soon.

He is survived by his daughters, Hannah (Alex) Spencer and Emma Gregory; his grandchildren, Grayson and Olivia Spencer; his siblings, Terri Hall, Tracy (Bill) Natale, Troy (Teresa) Hall, and Tim Gregory; his nephew, Timmy Gregory; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were brighter because they knew him.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, July 20, from 4:00 to 5:45 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Avenue N., Canton. A celebration of Tony’s life will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Celebrant Kevin O’Brien officiating.
