Timothy R. Royer, age 65, of North Canton, passed away Monday morning, November 21, 2016. He was born in Canton April 11, 1951 to Delbert and Martha (Horning) Royer. Tim was a Fire Prevention Educator for the Ohio State Fire Marshal and was a past firefighter and paramedic for the Hartville Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of First Friends Church and received an Associate Degree from Akron University. Tim had been an active Magician in the area and was a member of the Canton Magic Crafters, Stark County and International Fellowship of Christian Magicians, International Brotherhood of Magicians, and was a volleyball referee and member of the Hall of Fame Volleyball Association.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Roberta "Bobbie" Royer; daughters, Kathryn Dendinger (Joe) of North Canton, Kristin Buzzard of Canton, Caroline Royer of North Canton; son Andy Royer of Canton; granddaughter, Makenna Buzzard and sister Amy Cable of Hartville.

Calling hours will be Friday 4-6:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton. Funeral services will be Saturday 10:00 a.m. at First Friends Church with Pastor Stan Hinshaw officiating. Interment will be in West Lawn Cemetery. A broken wand ceremony will be Friday 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
