Thomas B. "Zip" Bahl, age 68, formerly of Canton, recently of West Chester, OH passed away early Sunday morning in his residence after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late Jack & Virginia (Hinkle) Bahl, he was a retired systems analyst for the Sara Lee Corp. Tom was a 1961 graduate of Lehman High School, graduate of Kent State University and received his master's degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Viet Nam War. Survivors include his wife Gail Bahl of the residence, daughter: Elizabeth also of the residence. Son: Zachary Bahl of Minooka, IL. Cousins: Sally (James) McGowan of Akron, and Jack (Ellen)Bahl of Canton, and Jackie (Charlie) Goins of S. Carolina. In accordance with Tom's wishes a private service will be for the immediate family.
