Thomas Robert Moore, age 75, of Canton, passed away on Saturday June 3, 2023, peacefully at home with his dog on his lap. He was born in Canton on October 10, 1947 and graduated in 1965 from Canton South High School where he played baseball and basketball. He served in the Army and afterwards attended Cleveland State becoming a draftsman for Diebold. Thomas always wanted to be a police officer and retired from the City of Canton Police Force in 1991. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed fumble ball, fishing, and home remodeling. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an artistic visionary always sketching ideas. He is survived by his wife Charlene; children Lori Moore (Donna), Joshua (Tracey) Moore, Jennifer Moore, Carissa (Ervin)  Kurtz, Kathi (Denny Derheimer) Dunn; 10 grandchildren; sister Rhonda (Ronald) Whitmer; and faithful dog Tinker Belle. Preceded in death by parents William Robert and Ruth Moore. No formal services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
