Theodore Oakland, age 90, of Uniontown passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 in his residence with his wife by his side. Ted was born December 23, 1930 in Akron to Phillip and Elizabeth (Lock) Oakland. Ted had an entrepreneurial spirit that served him extremely well running driving schools across the state of Ohio. His perfect day was a round of golf at Congress Lake Club followed by cards with his buddies. Known to his family as Grumpy, but he was a loving, kind, generous and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Sybal; son Steve (Lisa) Oakland; grandchildren Ben and Kim Oakland; sister Helen (Bud) Smythe. He is preceded in death by his son David and brother Mike.

Due to the pandemic a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
