Terry Lee Rundquist, age 81, of Canton went home to be with the Lord following a valiant battle against cancer on October 5, 2026. He was born in Hartville, Ohio on January 12, 1945, to the late Roy and Betty (Royer) Rundquist and is a graduate of Lake High School class of 1963. Terry continued his education at Kent State University, then served in the US Army, earning his E5 rank of Sargent and being awarded the Bronze Star while serving in Vietnam. He then finished his education at Malone College where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in management. He spent time working with Teledyne Monarch Rubber, Salem Blanking, and Alliance Stamping. He was an over 30-year member of the Wm. McKinley Lodge No 431, F. & A.M., served as Worshipful Master in 1998 and he received his 33rd degree honor in 2017. Terry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons as well as his beloved golden retrievers. He was also an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and loved watching old John Wayne movies. Terry was also a big history buff and loved reading about American military history.
Terry is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Charlene Rundquist; children Chuck (Stacey) Rundquist and Phil (Lindsay) Rundquist; grandchildren Austin Rundquist (fiancée Adreanna Tran), Isaac Rundquist, Jackson Lee Rundquist, and Lincoln Rundquist; siblings Chi Chi Ward and Ted Rundquist; several cousins and close friends.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 4:30 – 6:00 PM at the Chapel in Marlboro at 8700 Edison St NE. Masonic Services will begin at 6:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service. Private burial of ashes will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with honors.
