IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Terry
Nichols
November 3, 1950 – July 20, 2011
Terry Michael "Nick" Nichols, age 60, passed away Wednesday July 20, 2011 at home with his loving family and friends interceding for him and praying for his final miracle. Never once did he complain or back down from the serious challenges he faced. His positive attitude was a ministry to us all. Medical personnel gave him only months to live, but through prayer, the Lord blessed us with 4 more years and in that time, he witnessed the births of 4 more grandchildren.- WE ARE GRATEFUL. He was born November 3, 1950 in Harrisville, WV to the late Parley and Gianfranca Nichols, later moving to Hartville in the late 50's. His father started Nick's Body Shop in 1961 and along with Terry's brother Lewis soon began working along-side their father. In 1989, when Parley retired from Nick's, Terry and Mary Ellen purchased the business and continued as a "Mom & Pop" shop celebrating 50 years this year. Terry graduated from Lake High School and his sons as well. He served his country as an Army Reservist. He enjoyed boating, hunting, living in a "Small Town" and interacting with his customers who soon became friends. He was a member of The Chapel, Green Campus. His grandchildren were his special joy, especially while he was sick and they'd burst in the room, "Hi Papa!"; it made his day He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Ellen; sons Michael (Heather) of Maryland, Joseph (Gabrielle) of Hartville, David (Autumn) of Uniontown; Grandchildren Gabrielle, Amelia, Everette, Jacob, Cecilia, Elliott, Emerson, Demetri and Jaxon; brother Lewis "Tony" (Cheri) Nichols of Winston-Salem, NC; brother-in-law Ron Ehret of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law Linda Rossetti of Canton; along with many wonderful nephews and nieces.
