Ted W. Borden, age 68 passed away peacefully on Saturday April 14. Ted was born in Canton to the late Robert and Kathryn (Jones) Borden. A graduate of Lincoln High School he was retired from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 94 after 39 years. Ted's biggest joys in life were his grandchildren, Mattie and Ben. He loved spending as much time with them as he could and going to all of their activities. Ted's passions in life included golf, boat rides and gatherings at Meyers Lake but most importantly the yearly trips to Siesta Key Florida with friends and family. In addition to his parents Ted was preceded in death by his brother Tim. Survivors include the love of his life, caregiver and the mother of his daughters Shelly. Daughters, Jennie (Vince) Frustaci and Julie (Chad) Day; grandchildren, Matelyn Day and Benedetto Frustaci; sister, Cindy Clapper: brothers, Tom (Holly) Borden and Todd Borden; sister-in-law Jeanie Borden, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Cleveland Clinic and Aultman Hospice for their care. A memorial service will be 12 Noon Thursday at First Church of the Resurrection 901 Tuscarawas St., E. with Rev. Dr. Bruce Mont officiating.
