Tammy Jo Hostetler, age 51, of Hartville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday February 23, 2012. She was born on August 7, 1960 in Canton, Ohio. Tammy lived at home with her family until age 21 at which time she became a resident at Hartville Meadows. She worked at Whipple-Dale Workshops and most recently at The Front Porch where she was well known for her intricate painting and talents. Tammy was very athletic and competitive in Special Olympics and had earned multiple medals and awards. Her special needs did not prevent her from touching many people's lives. Many people may not have known her name, but you were sure to get a friendly wave from her as you passed her home. Preceded in death by her mother Liz Hostetler Feb 2008; and grandparents Mary Ann and Emanuel Hostetler, she is survived by her father Roy of Hartville; sister Tina and Mike Uccellini of Middletown, CT, brother Kevin Daniel and Beth Hostetler of Hartville and brother Kirk Hostetler of Uniontown; niece and nephews Kyle, Kaylee and Connor; many aunts, uncles, cousins; as well as her family at Hartville Meadows. Calling hours are Monday 6-8 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Tuesday 2:30 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Dave Hall officiating.
