Sylvia I Newell, age 87 of Hartville, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. She was born May 18, 1928 in Tariff, West Virginia to Floyd and Artensey (Hunt) Boggs. Sylvia was a nanny in Wadsworth before she married Donald Lee Newell on April 2, 1948. She had been a member of Grace Cathedral. Her husband Donald preceded her in death June 24, 2013. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Gary Rush of Hartville; son and daughter-in-law, Donald Lee Jr. and Susan Newell of Lawrenceville, Georgia and grandsons Gregory and Jason. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and a brother. Calling hours are Thursday 4-7:00 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville and one hour prior to the service on Friday 10-11:00 a.m. Services are Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Anthony DiMarco officiating.
