Susan M. Williams, age 68 of Hartville, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025, in her home following a lengthy illness. She was born August 10, 1956, in Akron to Norbert and Jeanne (McCue) Herman.

Susan graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Miami University and was a Certified Public Accountant having first worked with her father then independently and for the past 20 years with Donovan Klimczak & Company in Akron. Susan was a long time member of the Congress Lake Club and enjoyed the water and sailing in her younger years.

Susan loved all animals and her pets were like family. She supported numerous animal rescue organizations. She loved music and attended hundreds of concerts both near and far with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by sister Lisa Herman and brother David Herman. Survivors include her brother Chris Herman and numerous cousins in Canton, New York, Virginia and several other locations.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, 11:00 a.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home 1517 Market Ave N., Canton with Fr. Sal Shevchuk officiating. Memorial donations are requested to the Humane Society, Front Range Equine Rescue or a charity of the donor's choice.
