Susan L Schneider, age 64 of Marlboro Township passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on February 2, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of love and humility to her family, friends, work and church community. She was born November 26, 1950 in Canton to Harry and Jeanette (Plunkett) Varner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Jean A Dick. She is survived by her husband Eugene Schneider; four daughters Jennifer Smyke (Jonathan), Amanda Burkey (Keith), Danielle Whatling (Chris) and Tonya Lancaster (Bill); brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Ginny Varner, Stephen and Bobbi Varner, Harry and Jodi Varner Jr.; eight beloved grandchildren Courtney, Claudia, Sabrina, Carter, Braeden, Caleb, Arianna, Bryce and many nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She loved to entertain and was very generous, even in her final weeks she would offer her visitors a beverage and something to eat. She loved to cook and catered many receptions and parties. Susan's career was spent with Ohio Bell and most recently at Key Bank as a leader in the telecommunication department. She touched everyone's life in a special way and provided memories to her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews that will forever be cherished. We all know she loved the Lord and she is truly "fine" now. Her family will receive friends at Arnold Funeral Home, 504 W Maple Street, on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. Susan was a devoted member of Alliance Baptist Temple, 1441 W Vine Street, where funeral services will take place on Friday at 11:00am With Pastor Randy Payne officiating.
