Stephen James Proctor, age 30, recently of Greensboro, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 15, 2010. He was born in Akron on April 22, 1979, and was a 1997 Lake High School Graduate. While in high school, he was on the Tennis and Track Teams, played in the school's jazz and marching bands, and was active in his church's youth group at The Chapel of Marlboro. After attending Kent State, he lived in East Lansing, Michigan and Nashville, Tennessee and worked for Cigna. Preceded in death by grandmother Vicki Roark, grandfather Jesse Roark and grandfather Glenn Proctor. He is survived by his parents Jim and Tammy Proctor of Hartville; sister and brother-in-law Michelle and Seth Landesman and nephew Zach all of Hampstead, NC; grandmothers Jean Proctor of North Canton and Joan Roark of Portage Lakes; aunts Cindy (Sam) Roberts and Elaine Roark; other relatives and friends. Friends may call Friday 5-8:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday 12 noon- 1:00 p.m. Funeral services are Saturday 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Dan Michels officiating.
