Stanley D. Logan, age 71, passed away at Amherst Meadows Saturday after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Barnesville, Ohio and was preceded in death by his parents, Elza and Elsie (Powell) Logan. He will be missed very much by his wife Judith (Zimmerman-Warth) Logan. They would have celebrated their fifth anniversary on October 11, 2008. He leaves behind 3 sons, Craig Kerner, Mark and Stanley Logan, and 2 daughters, Teresa Painter and Tina Logan, 8 grandchildren including a special grandson Christopher Logan and his mother Mary Beth Wisniewski. He served in the Marines for three years and retired from the Timken Roller Bearing Co., after retirement he was an administrator for several years for the Moose Lodge #223 and worked for Deville apartments. Following his wishes he will be cremated and a private internment will take place at a later date for the family.
