Stanford L. Sirak, age 83, passed away Monday, May 22, 2006 at his home in West Palm Beach, Florida, after a 1 ½ year battle to overcome the damage of a devastating stroke. He is survived by his childhood sweet heart and wife of 62 years, Beatrice; daughter, Jane Sirak of Winston-Salem; sons, Mark (Marsha) Sirak; and Gary (Linda) Sirak of Canton; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also leaves a sister, Suzie (George) Illingsworth and brother, Eugene Sirak of Arizona. Stan graduated from McKinley High School and served as a Navy Pilot in World War II. He founded Sirak Financial Services in 1957 at the age of 34 and was very proud of the business's upcoming 50th anniversary and its many employees. Stan was very involved in the community and served on the boards of Temple Israel, the Canton Jewish Community Federation, Arrowhead Country Club and the Lands of the President Country Club in Florida. Stan loved his family, his community, flying his plane and playing golf. He was a source of strength to his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Funeral services will be held at Temple Israel on Friday, May 25, at 11:00 a.m. The family requests no flowers.
