Sonia Vaisler, age 77, of Canton, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Rose Lane Health Center. Sonia was born in Bucharest, Romania on December 14, 1930 to the late Joseph and Nessa (Calman) Vaisler. She was a member of Temple Israel. She will deeply missed by all her family members. Survived by her son Dr. Michael Barat and future daughter-in-law Terry Hickman of Canton and three grandchildren Ariel, Oren and Noah Barat. And by her niece, Iolanda Nitulescu of Montreal, Canada. Preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law Dr. Lupu and Adriana Vaisler. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in Temple Israel with Rabbi John Spitzer officiating.
