Sidney Mittelman, age 90, of Canton, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 9, 2016, in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. He was born on February 1, 1926 in Canton to the late Nathan and Mary (Markel) Mittelman. Sidney was a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue. He graduated from Lehman High School in 1944 and was a Navy veteran of WWII. He owned the State Window Cleaning Company which was a full service maintenance company in Canton.

Preceded in death by his wife Maureen "Moe" Mittelman in 1999 and by three sisters Freada Williams, Rose Primack and Mayme Altman. Survived by a daughter Jodi Mittelman of Canton, sons and daughters-in-law Rico and Blanche Mittelman of Dublin, OH, Scott and Ann Mittelman of Brimfield, OH; a granddaughter Marissa and five grandsons Jacob, Nathan, Jeremy, Sean and Louis.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Canton Hebrew Cemetery with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
