Shirley (Foote) Snook, age 84, of Canton, passed away on Friday July 12, 2013. She was born November 3, 1928 to Oscar and Evelyn (Mack) Foote. A graduate of Lincoln High School and Kent State University, she was a teacher for 31 years serving in the Canton and North Canton City Schools. She was active with Northminster Presbyterian Church in North Canton and also other organizations. Preceded in death by her husband Dale in 2004, she is survived by her son Michel (Lorraine), daughter Ramona (Michael) Bauer, son Edward, son Ron (Bev) Stevens; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Donna (Robert) Spevack and sister-in-law Betty (Marvin) Linhart. Calling hours are Thursday 6-8 PM at Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave N, Canton. Funeral services are Friday 10:30 AM in Northminster Presbyterian Church, 237 W Maple St, North Canton, with Rev. Matthew Skolnik officiating. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Burial Park.
