She never was one to sit idle and always had some task to preform. Her first job was at Forest Hill Cemetery as a family consultant and secretary. She also worked for her family's business, Canton Washer Parts until their closing as a bookkeeper. Her greatest work though, was in being an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother.
Shirley will be remembered dearly by all those that knew her. Her spunky nature was fulfilled by her stubborn, outspoken, ornery, silliness, and playful personality. She loved with all her heart and spoiled anyone that came to visit with bowls of ice-cream, snacks, and candy. She loved animals and cared for her three cats at home along with many strays that found their lucky way to her house, and were adopted by her. She prided herself and enjoyed in feeding the birds each day, especially the crows. Her passion was in maintaining and tending to her various flowers beds and keeping her lawn as beautiful as could be. Shirley enjoyed various shopping trips with her girls and granddaughters, taking trips to casinos and always having a lucky streak, as well as watching her array of scary movies, and spoiling her grandchildren. Her bright smile and laugh will be missed beyond measure. With her deep and founded faith in Jesus Christ, we all can thank God to have been blessed with knowing the abundance of her love.
