Shirley Petitti age 83, of Huntsville passed away peacefully on Saturday November 10th surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Canton, Ohio on October 29th 1935 to the late Emerson and Velma Miller.

Shirley was a member of the North East Alabama Crafters Association (NEACA) for more than 37 years. She had a love for crafts and was known for her ceramics. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Shirley leaves behind to cherish in her memory, her husband of 64 years Mike Petitti Sr., son Michael Petitti Jr. (Anita) of Phoenix, Arizona, Daughters Michelle (Johnny) O'Boyle of Canton, Ohio, Stephanie Bennett of San Diego, California, Kimberly (Kevin) Knight of Madison, Alabama. Eight grandchildren: Michael Petitti III, Keri (Zach) Hann, Bianca (Bryan) Mckeown, Kyle O'Boyle, Joshua Bennett, Jonathan Bennett, David (Hillary) Knight, and Kristina (Dustin) Easterling. Six great-grandchildren: Brett, Brandon, Brooklynn, and Bree Mckeown, Lola and Wilson Hann. Sister Donna(Glen) Jones, beloved Brother Larry (Pat) Miller of Canton, Ohio, and Sister-in-law Joann (Richard) Stolicny of Canton, Ohio, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 2pm to 3pm with a Celebration of Life to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society in Shirley's name.
