Shirley R. Keener, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 25, 2015 just 9 days shy of her 75th Birthday with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 4, 1940 in Louisville, Ohio to the late Lester and Pearl Miller. She was the Valedictorian of her class at Louisville High School. While raising a family she also worked outside the home. She was a devoted wife, Mother and grandmother. She appreciated the many friendships she held throughout her lifetime. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Paul; and brother-in-law Robert. She is survived by her children Dale (Cathy) Keener, Debra (Larry) Flounders, Diane (Tim) Henson, Dawn (Gary) Blythe; grandchildren Matthew (Kenyan), Adam and Daniel Keener, Andrew and Christopher (Diana) Flounders, Allyson (Al) and Lauren Haley, Brandon Henson, Blaire, Gwyn and Graham Blythe; great-grandchildren M.J. and Jackson Keener; siblings Dave (Pat) Miller, Darline (Ed) Schumacher, John (Ethel) Miller, Kathleen (David)McCurry; sister-in-law Rita Keener; and other relatives and friends. Calling hours are Wednesday 5-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville and an hour prior to services Thursday (11 AM to 12 noon). Funeral services are Thursday 12 noon at the funeral home with Pastor David Ryan officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery.
