Shirley E. Howell, age 79, of Canton, passed away Friday afternoon, Aoril 10, 2015, in Aultman Hospital. She was born on March 13, 1936 in Canton to the late Lawrence and Lavonne (Knepper) McAdow. Shirley attended McKinley High School and retired from the Akro Rubber Company and was a loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband's John Sheppard Sr. and Kenneth Howell Sr.; two sons Gregory Sheppard and Lawrence Sheppard; daughter Tamara Edwards and two brothers and a sister. She is survived by a son John (Rosa) Sheppard Jr. of Canton; two daughters Laura Snaith of Akron and Shirley K. Howell of Canton; two sisters, many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and by her best friend Margaret Sloan of Canton. A private family service will be held.
