Sheila Brenckle, age 79, of Brunswick and formerly of Hartville, passed away on October 21, 2022, surrounded by her family at Willowood Care Center. Sheila was a graduate of Jackson High School, majored in education at Walsh College, and was a longtime member of Hartville Church of the Brethren. She spent her early years before children in special education, and after the birth of her children, she assumed the role of loving caregiver to her family. She loved seeing them flourish and grow their own families. She led a full, happy life, and always greeted the day with an optimistic smile. In her final days, while discussing her life with her brother Jack, she said she was "born to be wild!"

In addition to her parents, Sheila is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene. She is survived by her children Heidi Brenckle and Jason (Molly) Brenckle; grandchildren Madison and Bella Ruggerio, and Jack and Nora Brenckle; siblings Jack (Gail) Garner, Joni Berg, and Grant "Rick" (Cathy) Garner, and siblings in-law Mark (Beth) Brenckle, Tom Brenckle, Bev (Ron) Green and Pat Brenckle.

A private memorial service will take place at Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Her final resting place will be next to her beloved, Gene, at Mt. Peace Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time with those close to you as that is what Sheila would have wanted.
