Sarah M. Miller, age 85, of Hartville, went to meet her Savior, which was her desire on Sunday September 21, 2008 at Aultman Hospital due to pneumonia and complications. She was born in Hartville on December 29, 1922 to the late Allen and Abigail (Schlabach) Miller. Preceded in death by brother Calvin, niece Gaylene Schlabach and brother-in-law Ray Slabaugh. She is survived by two sisters Amanda and Crist Schlabach of Hartville and Dorothy Slabaugh of Winesburg, OH; two brothers Glen and Maureen Miller of San Jose, CA and Leon Miller of Uniontown; 17 nieces and nephews. She served in volunteer service in Gulf Port, MS and for MCC in Akron, PA, and in New Towne Chapel in Sarasota, FL. In later years, she helped at Midway Manor. She was a member of Bethany Mennonite Church. Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Bethany Mennonite Church and Thursday 9-10 AM. Services are Thursday at 10 AM at the church with Pastor Dave Slabaugh and Pastor Dave Sommers officiating. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.
