Sandra "Sandy" Ricks, age 81, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning December 10, 2023. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on February 9, 1942 to the late Lloyd and Verna Marie (Cooper) VonKenal. She retired from AESCO Electronics Co. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved flowers and to be in her flower beds.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph "Lane"; brother Richard "Dick" VonKenal; sons Joseph Ricks and Stephan Bilbrey; and infant granddaughter Shelby. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Stephanie and Billy Ohman, Lori and Terry Davis, and Deborah Ricks; 4 grandchildren Rhyan (Kyle) Birkhimer, Cassie (Cody) Royer, Emily and Jonathon; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters JoAnn Terry and Debra Marshall; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family had graveside services at Mount Peace Cemetery on Wednesday December 13, 2023.
