Sandra K. Collins, age 54 of North Canton, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 18, 2015 in her residence with her loving friends by her side following a courageous battle with cancer. Sandy was born November 3, 1960 in Ravenna to David and Sarah (Homan) Collins Sr. She worked for Winking Lizzard restaurant for the past 25 years, serving as general manager in the Jackson Township and North Canton stores, from 1976 to 1986 she worked at Congress Lake Club. Sandy was especially passionate about helping the special needs employees at the restaurant. She is survived by brothers and sisters, Jim (Cindy) Collins, Carol Akers Collins, Darlene (Merle) Rose, Junior Collins, Patty Fullens Collins, Diane (Daniel) Boone; lifelong, dedicated and dear friends, Heather (Jim) Mancini, Deborah (Jeff) Porter, Judy (Butch) Burdge and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, two nephews, Preston, Robert, niece, Sierra and close family friend, Buddy Burdge. A celebration of life service and reception will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the Lake Cable Clubhouse, 5725 Fulton Rd NW, Canton, Ohio 44718.
