Ruth A. Mercer, age 76, of N. Canton died Monday morning in Bethany Nursing Home. Born in Cambridge, OH to the late Walter & Irma (Watson) Mercer, she had resided here most of her life. Ruth was retired from Ruth Mercer Advertising Agency. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters: Arlene & Linda and a brother Dale. She is survived by a brother: Donald E. (Eula) Mercer of N. Canton and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be on Thursday 11:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M.and one hour prior to the service.
