Ruth "Boots" Lovinsky, age 80, of Uniontown, OH died Monday evening in Barberton Citizens Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Canton, Boots was a retired Registered Nurse having worked at Barberton Citizens Hospital and the Visiting Nurse Service of Akron where she was instrumental in starting home health care programs at local hospitals. Boots is survived by her brother: John Lovinsky of Canton. Numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Also survived by special friend: Kathy Sassaman of Uniontown. Funeral service will be Friday 11:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Fr. John Zuzic officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
