Ruth Ann (Shipbaugh) Hershberger, age 88, of North Canton, passed away Tuesday morning in Aultman Hospital. Born in Bergholz, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Stella (Moore) Clark. Ruth was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, she enjoyed crafts, sewing and especially spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her husbands Joseph Grant Shipbaugh Jr. and Charles Hershberger, parents, sons; James Lee Hershberger and Joseph Grant Shipbaugh and a granddaughter; Amy Spencer. Ruth is survived by a daughter Diane (Leland) Spencer, son; Charles (Karen) Hershberger, daughter-in-law; Cynthia Ries, grandchildren; Joseph (Kimberly) Shipbaugh IV, Nancy McLaughlin, Steven (Jeanne) Shipbaugh, Jason (Valerie) Shipbaugh, Lee (Tammy) Spencer III, great-grandchildren; Carrie (Brock) VanMeter, Joseph V, Erin, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Chole, Gavin, and Megan Shipbaugh,Connor and Kyle Mclaughlin, Karissa Kuntzman, Leland IV, and Logan Spencer, great-great-grandson; Niko, many nieces, nephews and friend Sherry Cini-Putnam. Funeral Service will be Monday, 11:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas ST, W. with Rev. Donald Richards officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
