Ruth Haswell Braybon Gooding, age 88, of Uniontown, Ohio went home to be with the Lord August 16, 2018. Born in Middlebranch, Ohio on April 6, 1930 to the late Floyd and Bertha (Fausnight) Haswell. She was a life long member of East Nimishillen Church of the Brethren where she taught Sunday School, visited shut-ins and served on the Board.

She was preceded in death by husbands Marvin Braybon and Franklin Gooding; son Terry Braybon and great-granddaughter Megan Cairo. She was a loving caring mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Braybon Blethen (Victor Gutierrez); son Elliott Braybon; sister Patricia Higginbotham; 10 grandchildren Sonya (Jay), Paul (Lea Anne) Simona, Daniel, Eva (Scott), Brittany (Ian), Holly, Shelby, Christie (John), Brent (Sara); 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Calling hours are 10-11 AM Tuesday August 21, at East Nimishillen Church of the Brethren. Funeral services are Tuesday 11 AM in the church with Pastor James Lee and Carol Kuryn officiating. Final resting place is the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lake Township FISH 934 W.
