Ruth Arconti, age 92, formerly of North Canton, most recently of Akron, passed over to her heavenly home on Monday evening. She was born in Monterey, Tenn. to the late James and Arminda (Suttles) Myers. Ruth was a homemaker all her life, she was a gracious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, caring for many loved ones and friends throughout her life. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and most recently attended Word of His Grace Fellowship in Cuyahoga Falls. Ruth married Tommy in 1941 and raised two sons, Richard and Douglas. In addition to her parents Ruth was preceded in death by her husband; Thomas, son; Douglas; brothers; Sam, Aubrey, Arvil, Millard, Robert, and Harold, sisters; Thelma and Geneva. Ruth is survived by her loving son Richard and his wife Lois of Akron, granddaughter, Sherry Arconti of Louisville, KY, grandson; Mark and his wife Melanie Arconti of Stow and their son Austin Daulbaugh of Sellersburg, IN, grandson; Eric Arconti of Canal Fulton, granddaughter; Leslie Martin of North Canton and her sons; Aiden and Nolan and many loving nieces and nephews also survive. The family wishes to express their gratefulness for the tender and loving kindness shown to Ruth by those who cared for her in the last few years of her life including the staff of New Horizon adult Day Care. Funeral Service will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. with Pastor John Rasicci and Rev. Don Richards officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call on Friday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
