Russell C. "Squeeky" Nesbitt, age 82, of Canton, passed away Sunday after an extended illness. He was born in Canton to the late David and Esther (Pillit) Nesbitt. Russell retired from the Ford Motor Company and was a member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents Russell was preceded in death by his wife Lola Ann in 2005, great-granddaughter, Nevaeh, siblings; Edith Martin, Katherine Kinser, Dorothy Shissler, Geraldine Abel, Robert, David and Richard Nesbitt. Survivors include sons; Daniel (Darlene) Nesbitt and Donald (Christine Johnson) Nesbitt, grandchildren; Tiffany Stoll, Kyle, Meagan & Zachary Nesbitt, great-grandson; Bryant Dougherty and sister-in-law; Marjorie Fike, numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW with Rev. John Mather officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
