Rudy J. Kager "Butch", age 65 of North Canton went home to be with the Lord on Friday October 26, 2007. He was born in Canton on February 21, 1942. Rudy was a Batch Man for Uniontown Ready Mix then Summit Ready Mix and retired in 2003. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, washing and waxing his vehicles, playing cards with his buddies and a good cup of coffee. He was preceded in death by his father Rudolph Sr. and is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joyce; twins Jeffrey and Justine: Jeffrey Kager of Canton and Justine and Keith Holland of Massillon; mother, Madeline Leyda of Canton; step-mother, Emma Kager of North Canton; grandchildren, Zachary and Jessica Kager of North Canton, Seth and Sean Holland of Massillon; brothers, Richard (Marie) Kager, Michael (Shelia) Kager, Alan (Collette) Kager, Lee (Lori) Kyser all of Canton; sisters Sherry (Flemming) Mayle, Diane and Delores; as well as other relatives and friends. Friends and Family may call Tuesday 5-8 PM and 1 hour prior to services Wed. (10-11 AM) at High Mill Church Of The Resurrection, 1920 Schneider St.,NE. Funeral services are at the church Wednesday 11 AM with Pastor Chuck Schumacher and Rev. Jake Tovissi officiating. Final resting place is Henry Warstler Cemetery.
