Ruby M. Amacher, age 87, of Perry Township, passed away early Tuesday morning in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Matthews) Rosser. Ruby was a 1943 graduate of Lehman High School, retired from Canton Podiatry and was a past member of United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Byron Amacher and a brother Glyn Rosser. Ruby was the beloved mother of Keith Amacher of Maryland, Janet (William) Sellers, Lisa Fowler and Chris Amacher all of Perry Township, grandchildren; Julie, Shari, Lori, Kevin and Brian, five great-grandchildren and brother, Gareth Rosser, and her beloved dog, Buddy also survives. Funeral service will be 12 noon, Thursday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral home 710 Tuscarawas St. W. with Rev. Eli O. Klingensmith officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
