Roy A. Raber, age 75, of Uniontown, went home to be with the Lord on Monday night March 7, 2011 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. He was born in Millersburg, Ohio on September 21, 1935 to the late Andrew J. and Lucinda (Raber) Raber. Roy had a hard working ethic which included driving trucks when younger, working in a trailer factory, lawn maintenance and dairy farming while in Florida and for the past 17 years working banquets at The Hartville Kitchen. He is survived by his wife of 26 ½ years Theresa A. (Wittmer) Raber; children Lyle (Joyce) Raber of Ohio , Bob (Marty) Raber, Roger (Peggy) Raber all of Georgia, Sandra (Don) Davies of Tennessee, Carol (Crist) English, Roy Jr. (Jill) Raber, Edward (Donna) Raber all of Florida and Magdalene (Shawn) Conner of Ohio; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law Dan (Ada) Raber, Raymond Raber, Jonas (Mary) Raber, Ervin (Mary) Raber and brother-in-law Dave Miller . Preceded in death by sister Clara Miller and sister-in-law Sarah Ann Raber. Calling hours are Friday 2-4 & 6-8 at Hartville Mennonite Church and one hour prior to services Saturday 10-11 AM.
