Ross A. Guido, age 79, of North Canton, died Wednesday afternoon in his residence after a 5 year courageous battle with multiple cancers. Born in Fairmont, WV to the late John and Rose (Maruka) Guido he was a retired financial advisor. Mr. Guido was a member of the North Canton Elk's and Eagles, was an avid golfer and loved his cars. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years :Alice "Dolly" (Hansford) Guido of the residence. Beloved son: Dr. Gary J. Guido of North Canton, Grandson: Aaron Guido of Charlotte, NC. Daughter: Mrs. Larry (Linda) Denson of Cleveland. Brother: Joseph Guido of Delaware. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Gloria Forte. A private funeral service will be on Saturday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home with private interment in North Canton Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
